Mosiah 22:3

Now it came to pass that Gideon went forth and stood before the king, and said unto him, Now O king, thou hast hitherto hearkened unto my words many times when we have been contending with our brethren, the Lamanites.

Then Gideon went and stood before the king. He said to him: King, you have listened to my words many times before. That was when we were fighting with our brothers, the Lamanites.

Then Gideon stepped forward and spoke to the king: “My king, you’ve listened to me before when we fought against the Lamanites.
