Mosiah 20:26

And when the Lamanites saw the people of Limhi, that they were without arms, they had compassion on them, and were pacified towards them, and returned with their king in peace to their own land.

The Lamanites saw that Limhi’s people had no weapons. They felt sorry for them. They became peaceful toward them. They went back to their own land with their king in peace.

When the Lamanite army saw Limhi’s people standing there unarmed, they had compassion. Their anger faded. They returned peacefully with their king to their own land.
