Mosiah 2:8

And it came to pass that he began to speak to his people from the tower; and they could not all hear his words, because of the greatness of the multitude; therefore, he caused that the words which he spake, should be written and sent forth among those that were not under the sound of his voice, that they might also receive his words.

He began to speak to his people from the tower. But not everyone could hear his words because there were so many people. So he had the words he spoke written down and sent out to those who could not hear his voice. That way they could also get his words.

When he began speaking from the tower, some people still couldn’t hear because of how far back they were. So he had his words written down and sent out to those who were beyond the sound of his voice, so they could receive his message too.
