And now I ask, Can ye say aught of yourselves? I answer you, Nay. Ye cannot say that thou art even as much as the dust of the earth; yet thou wast created of the dust of the earth: but behold, it belongeth to him who created you.

Simple English

“Can you say anything good about yourselves? No, you cannot. You cannot say that you are even as good as the dust of the earth. But you were made from the dust of the earth. It belongs to the one who created you.”

Paraphrase

“Can you claim anything for yourself? No. You can’t even say you’re as valuable as the dust of the earth—yet that’s what you were made from. But even the dust belongs to him who created you.”
