Mosiah 19:20

And the king commanded them that they should not return; and they were angry with the king, and caused that he should suffer, even unto death by fire.

The king told them not to go back. They got angry with the king. They burned him to death.

The king ordered them not to go back. That was the last straw. Furious, they seized him and burned him alive.
