Mosiah 19:2

And now behold, the forces of the king were small, having been reduced, and there began to be a division among the remainder of the people.

The king’s army was now small. The rest of the people began to fight with each other.

The king’s forces were now small—weakened from their losses—and the people who remained started splitting into factions.
