Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Simple English

But the Lord wanted to crush him and make him suffer. When he gives his life for sin, he will see his children. He will live longer. The Lord’s plan will work through him.

Paraphrase

Yet it was the Lord’s plan to crush him, to let him suffer. When his life becomes an offering for sin, he’ll see his descendants. His days will continue, and the Lord’s purpose will succeed through him.
