But I must fulfil the commandments wherewith God hath commanded me; and because I have told you the truth, ye are angry with me. And again: Because I have spoken the word of God, ye have judged me that I am mad.

Changes

Simple English

“I must do what God told me to do. Because I told you the truth, you are angry with me. Because I spoke God’s words, you think I am crazy.”

Paraphrase

“But I will finish what God commanded me to say. And you’re angry with me because I told you the truth. You’ve called me crazy simply because I spoke the word of God.”
