And it shall come to pass that ye shall be smitten for thine iniquities: for ye have said that ye teach the law of Moses. And what knowest thou concerning the law of Moses? Doth salvation come by the law of Moses? What sayest thou?

Simple English

“You will be punished for your sins. You said you teach the law of Moses. What do you know about the law of Moses? Does the law of Moses save people? What do you say?”

Paraphrase

“You’re going to be punished for your sins. You claim you teach the law of Moses. But what do you really know about it? Does the law of Moses save you? Answer me that.”
