I say unto, Wo be unto you for perverting the ways of the Lord. For if ye understand these things, ye have not taught them; therefore, ye have perverted the ways of the Lord.

“I say to you: Trouble will come to you for twisting the Lord’s ways. If you understand these things, you have not taught them. So you have twisted the Lord’s ways.”

Paraphrase

“Shame on you for twisting the Lord’s ways! If you actually understand these scriptures, you haven’t been teaching them. You’ve corrupted the Lord’s ways.”
