And again: That they were wronged while in the land of their first inheritance, after they had crossed the sea; and all this, because that Nephi was more faithful in keeping the commandments of the Lord; therefore he was favored of the Lord, for the Lord heard his prayers and answered them, and he took the lead of their journey in the wilderness.

They also thought they were treated badly in their first land after crossing the sea. All of this happened because Nephi obeyed God’s commands better. So the Lord helped Nephi. The Lord heard Nephi’s prayers and answered them. Nephi led them through the wilderness.
Paraphrase
And more: They believed they’d been cheated in their first homeland after crossing the sea. All of this happened, they said, because Nephi obeyed the Lord’s commands more faithfully than they did. The Lord favored him, heard his prayers, and let him lead the journey through the wilderness.
