Mosiah 1:13

Yea, and moreover I say unto you, That if this highly favored people of the Lord should fall into transgression, and become a wicked and an adulterous people, that the Lord will deliver them up, that thereby they become weak, like unto their brethren; and he will no more preserve them, by his matchless and marvellous power, as he hath hitherto preserved our fathers.

Also, I tell you that if these people that the Lord loves do wrong things and become bad and unfaithful people, the Lord will let them become weak like their brothers. He will not protect them anymore with his great power like he has protected our fathers.

But here’s the warning: if this people—whom the Lord has blessed so much—turns to evil and becomes corrupt and unfaithful, the Lord will let them become weak like their relatives. He won’t protect them anymore with his extraordinary power the way he’s protected our fathers all this time.
