Moroni 9:23

and if they perish, it will be like unto the Jaredites, because of the wilfulness of their hearts, seeking for blood and revenge.

If they die, it will be like the Jaredites. They wanted to do whatever they wanted. They wanted blood and revenge.

And if they are destroyed, it will be just like the Jaredites—because of their stubborn hearts, their thirst for blood and revenge.
