Moroni 7:9

And likewise also is it counted evil unto a man, if he shall pray, and not with real intent of heart; yea, and it profiteth him nothing: for God receiveth none such;

It’s also evil if someone prays without really meaning it in his heart. It doesn’t help him. God doesn’t listen to prayers like that.

The same goes for prayer. If you pray without real intent in your heart, it does you no good. God doesn’t accept prayers like that.
