wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all, for all things must fail;

So if you don’t have charity, you are nothing. Charity never fails. So hold on to charity. It is the greatest of all. All other things will fail.

Paraphrase

Dear friends, without love you’re nothing. Love never fails. So hold tight to love, which is the greatest thing of all. Everything else will pass away.
