O God, the Eternal Father, we ask thee, in the name of thy Son Jesus Christ, to bless and sanctify this wine to the souls of all those who drink of it, that they may do it in remembrance of the blood of thy Son, which was shed for them, that they may witness unto thee, O God the Eternal Father, that they do always remember him, that they may have his spirit to be with them. Amen.

O God, the Eternal Father, we ask you in the name of your Son Jesus Christ to bless this wine for everyone who drinks it. May they drink it to remember the blood of your Son. His blood was given for them. May they promise you, O God the Eternal Father, that they will always remember him. And may they have his Spirit to be with them. Amen.

Paraphrase

“God, our eternal Father, we ask you in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, to bless and set apart this wine for all who drink it. May they drink in remembrance of your Son’s blood, which he shed for them. And as they do, may they show you, eternal Father, that they will always remember him—so his Spirit can be with them. Amen.”
