Moroni 10:3

Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam, even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.

When you read these things, if it is God’s will that you read them, remember how kind the Lord has been to people. Remember this from when Adam was created to the time you get these records. Think about it in your hearts.

When you read these things—if God wants you to read them—remember how merciful the Lord has been to people. From the time of Adam to the day you hold this record, think about his kindness. Let it sink deep into your hearts.
