And if our plates had been sufficiently large, we should have written in the Hebrew; but the Hebrew hath been altered by us also; and if we could have written in the Hebrew, behold, ye would have had none imperfection in our record.

If our plates had been big enough, we would have written in Hebrew. But we have changed the Hebrew too. If we could have written in Hebrew, you would have had no mistakes in our record.
