Mormon 9:31

Condemn me not because of mine imperfection; neither my father, because of his imperfection; neither them which have written before him, but rather give thanks unto God that he hath made manifest unto you our imperfections, that ye may learn to be more wise than that which we have been.

Don’t say I am wrong because I am not perfect. Don’t say my father is wrong because he is not perfect. Don’t say that about those who wrote before him either. Instead, thank God that he has shown you that we are not perfect. This way you can learn to be smarter than we have been.

Don’t condemn me because I’m imperfect. Don’t condemn my father for his imperfections, or those who wrote before him. Instead, thank God that he’s shown you our imperfections so you can learn to be wiser than we’ve been.
