Mormon 8:24

And he knoweth their prayers, that they were in the behalf of their brethren. And he knoweth their faith: for in his name could they remove mountains; and in his name could they cause the earth to shake; and by the power of his word did they cause prisons to tumble to the earth; yea, even the fiery furnace could not harm them; neither wild beasts, nor poisonous serpents, because of the power of his word.

He knows their prayers were for their families. He knows they had faith. Because of his name they could move mountains. Because of his name they could shake the earth. By the power of his word they made prisons fall down. The fiery furnace could not hurt them. Wild animals and poisonous snakes could not hurt them because of the power of his word.

He knows their prayers—they prayed for their brothers and sisters. He knows their faith. In his name they could move mountains. In his name they could shake the earth. By the power of his word they made prison walls crumble. Fire couldn’t burn them. Wild animals and poisonous snakes couldn’t harm them—all because of the power of his word.
