Mormon 8:15

For none can have power to bring it to light, save it be given him of God: for God will that it shall be done with an eye singled to his glory, or the welfare of the ancient and long dispersed covenant people of the Lord.

No one can bring it to light unless God gives them that power. God wants it done to bring him glory and to help his people. His people made a promise with him long ago and they have been scattered.

No one can bring it to light unless God grants them that power. God wants this done with pure motives—for his glory and for the benefit of his ancient covenant people who have been scattered for so long.
