Mormon 5:11

For I know that such will sorrow for the calamity of the house of Israel; yea, they will sorrow for the destruction of this people; they will sorrow that this people had not repented, that they might have been clasped in the arms of Jesus.

I know they will be sad about the hard times of the house of Israel. They will be sad that this people was destroyed. They will be sad that this people didn’t turn from their sins. If they had, Jesus would have held them close.

I know people like that will grieve over the tragedy that fell on Israel. They’ll mourn the destruction of this people. They’ll ache knowing these people refused to turn back—that they could have been held in the arms of Jesus.
