But behold, the land was filled with robbers and with Lamanites; and notwithstanding the great destruction which hung over my people, they did not repent of their evil doings; therefore there was blood and carnage spread throughout all the face of the land, both on the part of the Nephites, and also on the part of the Lamanites; and it was one complete revolution throughout all the face of the land.

Changes

But behold, the land was filled with robbers and with Lamanites; and notwithstanding the great destruction which hung over my people, they did not repent of their evil doings; therefore there was blood and carnage spread throughout all the face of the land, both on the part of the Nephites, and also on the part of the Lamanites; and it was one complete revolution throughout all the face of the land.

Simple English

But the land was filled with robbers and Lamanites. Even though my people were in great danger, they did not turn away from their evil ways. So there was blood and killing all over the land. This happened among the Nephites and the Lamanites. It was a complete disaster all over the land.

Paraphrase

But the whole land was crawling with bandits and Lamanites. Despite the disaster hanging over them, my people refused to turn from their evil. Blood and slaughter covered the land—Nephites and Lamanites alike. It was total chaos everywhere.
