Mormon 2:15

And it came to pass that my sorrow did return unto me again, and I saw that the day of grace was past with them, both temporally and spiritually: for I saw thousands of them hewn down in open rebellion against their God, and heaped up as dung upon the face of the land. And thus three hundred and forty and four years had passed away.

My sadness came back. I saw that their time for God’s kindness was over. This was true both in this life and in the next. I saw thousands of them cut down while fighting against God. They were piled up like dirt on the ground. By this time, 344 years had passed.

My grief came flooding back. I could see that their time of grace was over—both in this life and the next. I watched thousands of them cut down in open rebellion against God, their bodies piled up like garbage across the land. By then it was the year 344.
