Jarom 1:11

wherefore, the prophets, and the priests, and the teachers, did labor diligently, exhorting, with all long suffering, the people to diligence; teaching the law of Moses, and the intent for which it was given; persuading them to look forward unto the Messiah, and believe in him to come, as though he already was. And after this manner did they teach them.

So the prophets, priests, and teachers worked hard. They patiently urged the people to work hard for God. They taught the law of Moses and explained why it was given. They encouraged people to look forward to the Messiah and believe in him as if he had already come. This is how they taught them.

So the prophets, priests, and teachers worked tirelessly, patiently urging the people to stay faithful. They taught the law of Moses and explained why God gave it. They pushed people to look forward to the Messiah and trust in him as if he’d already come. That’s how they taught.
