Jacob 7:19

And he sayeth, I fear lest I have committed the unpardonable sin, for I have lied unto God: for I denied the Christ, and said that I believed the Scriptures; and they truly testify of him. And because that I have thus lied unto God, I greatly fear lest my case shall be awful; but I confess unto God.

He said: “I’m afraid I have done the worst sin. I have lied to God. I said there was no Christ. I said I believed the Scriptures. But they tell about him. Because I lied to God like this, I’m very afraid my situation is terrible. But I confess to God.”

He said, “I’m afraid I’ve committed the unforgivable sin. I lied to God. I denied Christ, even though I claimed to believe the scriptures—and they testify of him. Because I lied to God like this, I’m terrified of what’s waiting for me. But I confess it all to God.”
