Jacob 5:8

And behold, saith the Lord of the vineyard, I take away many of these young and tender branches, and I will graft them whithersoever I will; and it mattereth not that if it so be, that the root of this tree will perish, I may preserve the fruit thereof unto myself; wherefore, I will take these young and tender branches, and I will graft them whithersoever I will.

Changes

Simple English

The Lord of the vineyard said: “I will take many of these young branches. I will plant them wherever I want. Even if this tree’s roots die, I can save its fruit for myself. So I will take these young branches. I will plant them wherever I want.”

Paraphrase

The Lord of the vineyard said, ‘I’ll take many of these young tender branches and graft them wherever I want. Even if the root of this tree dies, I can still preserve its fruit for myself. So I’ll take these young branches and graft them wherever I choose.’
