Helaman 9:24

And because I have done this, ye say that I have agreed with a man that he should do this thing; yea, because I shewed unto you this sign, ye are angry with me, and seek to destroy my life.

“Because I have done this, you say I made an agreement with a man to do this thing. Because I showed you this sign, you are angry with me and seek to destroy my life.”

“And because I did this—because I showed you this sign—you’re angry with me. You want to kill me.”
