Helaman 8:5

therefore they did cry unto the people, saying, Why do ye suffer this man to revile against us? For behold, he doth condemn all this people, even unto destruction; yea, and also that these our great cities shall be taken from us, that we shall have no place in them.

So they cried out to the people: “Why do you let this man speak badly about us? He says all of you will be destroyed! He says our great cities will be taken away from us. We won’t have anywhere to live!”

So instead they rallied the crowd: “Why are you letting this man attack us? He’s condemning everyone here to destruction! He says our great cities will be taken from us, that we’ll have nowhere to live.”
