yea, behold it is now even at your doors; yea, go ye in unto the judgement seat, and search; and behold, your Judge is murdered, and he lieth in his blood; and he hath been murdered by his brother, who seeketh to sit in the judgement seat.

Simple English

“It’s right at your door! Go to the judgment seat and look! Your judge has been murdered. He’s lying in his blood. His brother killed him. His brother wants to be the judge.”

Paraphrase

“In fact, it’s at your door right now. Go to the judgment seat and look. Your chief judge has been murdered. He’s lying in his own blood. His own brother killed him—the brother who wants to take his place as judge.”
