And it came to pass that in the sixty and sixth year of the reign of the Judges, behold, Cezoram was murdered by an unknown hand, as he sat upon the judgement seat. And it came to pass that in the same year, that his son, which had been appointed by the people in his stead, was also murdered. And thus ended the sixty and sixth year.

In the sixty-sixth year of the judges’ rule, Cezoram was murdered by someone unknown while sitting on the judgment seat. In the same year, his son who had been chosen to replace him was also murdered. The sixty-sixth year ended.

Then in the sixty-sixth year, Cezoram was murdered by an unknown killer while sitting on the judgment seat. That same year, his son—whom the people had chosen to replace him—was also murdered. That’s how the sixty-sixth year ended.
