and as many as were convinced, did lay down their weapons of war, and also their hatred, and the tradition of their fathers.

All who believed put down their weapons of war. They also let go of their hate and the traditions of their fathers.

Everyone who believed put down their weapons of war, along with their hatred and the traditions they’d inherited from their ancestors.
