Helaman 2:11

But behold, when Gadianton had found that Kishkumen did not return, he feared lest that he should be destroyed; therefore he caused that his band should follow him. And they took their flight out of the land, by a secret way, into the wilderness; and thus when Helaman sent forth to take them, they could no where be found.—

But when Gadianton saw that Kishkumen did not come back, he was afraid he would be killed. So he made his group follow him. They ran away from the land by a secret path into the wilderness. When Helaman sent people to capture them, they could not be found anywhere.

But when Gadianton realized Kishkumen wasn’t coming back, he feared he’d be caught and killed. He ordered his gang to flee. They escaped through secret routes into the wilderness. When Helaman’s men went looking for them, they were nowhere to be found.
