Changes

yYea, behold, this death bringeth to pass the resurrection, and redeemeth all mankind from the first death; that spiritual death; for all mankind, by the fall of Adam, being cut off from the presence of the Lord, are considered as dead, both as to things temporal and to things spiritual.

Simple English

“His death makes it possible for people to rise from the dead. It saves all people from the first death. That spiritual death happened because of Adam’s sin. All people were cut off from the Lord. They are considered dead in both physical and spiritual ways.”

Paraphrase

“His death makes resurrection possible and rescues all humanity from the first death—that spiritual death. Because of Adam’s fall, all people are cut off from God’s presence. They’re considered dead, both physically and spiritually.”
