Helaman 10:6

Behold, thou art Nephi, and I am God. Behold, I declare it unto thee in the presence of mine angles, that ye shall have power over this people, and shall smite the earth with famine, and with pestilence, and destruction, according to the wickedness of this people.

“You are Nephi. I am God. I am telling you this in front of my angels. You will have power over these people. You can hit the earth with hunger, sickness, and destruction. This will match how evil these people are.”

“You are Nephi, and I am God. I tell you this in the presence of my angels: you’ll have power over these people. You can strike the earth with famine, disease, and destruction—whatever their wickedness deserves.”
