Helaman 1:4

Now these are not all the sons of Pahoran, (for he had many,) but these are they which did contend for the judgement seat; therefore they did cause three divisions among the people.

These were not all of Pahoran’s sons. He had many sons. But these three wanted to be judge. They split the people into three groups.

Pahoran had other sons too, but these three were the ones who wanted the judgment seat badly enough to split the people into three factions.
