Ether 8:13

And it came to pass that Akish gathered in unto the house of Jared all his kinsfolks, and saith unto them, Will ye swear unto me that ye will be faithful unto me in the thing which I shall desire of you?

Akish brought all his relatives to Jared’s house. He said to them: Will you promise to be loyal to me and do what I ask of you?

Akish gathered all his relatives at Jared’s house and said to them, “Will you swear to be loyal to me in what I’m about to ask of you?”
