Ether 6:12

and they did land upon the shore of the promised land. And when they had set their feet upon the shores of the promised land, they bowed themselves down upon the face of the land, and did humble themselves before the Lord, and did shed tears of joy before the Lord, because of the multitude of his tender mercies over them.

They landed on the shore of the promised land. When they set their feet on the shore, they bowed down on the ground. They made themselves humble before the Lord. They cried tears of joy before the Lord. They did this because of all his kind mercies to them.

Then they landed on the shore of the promised land. When their feet touched the sand, they fell to their knees and bowed low to the ground. They humbled themselves before the Lord and wept tears of joy, overwhelmed by his tender mercies.
