And it came to pass that when they had come down into the valley of Nimrod, the Lord came down and talked with the brother of Jared; and he was in a clowd, and the brother of Jared saw him not.

Simple English

When they came down into the valley of Nimrod, the Lord came down and talked with Jared’s brother. The Lord was in a cloud. Jared’s brother could not see him.

Paraphrase

When they reached the valley of Nimrod, the Lord came down and spoke with the brother of Jared. He appeared in a cloud, so the brother of Jared couldn’t see him.
