And never could be a people more blessed than were they, and more prospered by the hand of the Lord. And they were in a land that was choice above all lands, for the Lord had spoken it.

No people could ever be more blessed than they were. The Lord helped them do well. They were in a land that was the best of all lands. The Lord had said so.

No people could have been more blessed or more prosperous than they were under the Lord’s hand. They lived in the choicest land anywhere, just as the Lord had promised.
