Now I say unto you, that ye must repent, and be born again: for the spirit saith, If ye are not born again, ye cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven; therefore come and be baptized unto repentance, that ye may be washed from your sins, that ye may have faith on the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sins of the world, which is mighty to save and to cleanse from all unrighteousness;

Simple English
You must change your hearts and be born again. The Spirit says if you are not born again, you cannot go to God’s kingdom. So come and be baptized. Turn away from your sins. Then you will be washed from your sins. You will have faith in the Lamb of God. He takes away the sins of the world. He is powerful. He can save you and clean you from all wrong.
Paraphrase
You must repent and be born again. The Spirit says if you’re not born again, you can’t inherit God’s kingdom. So come and be baptized in repentance to wash away your sins, and have faith in the Lamb of God who takes away the world’s sins and has power to save and cleanse from all evil.
