Alma 62:37

Now it came to pass that when Lehi and Moroni knew that Teancum was dead, they were exceeding sorrowful: for behold, he had been a man which had fought valiantly for his country, yea, a true friend to liberty; and he had suffered very many exceeding sore afflictions. But behold, he was dead, and had gone the way of all the earth.

When Lehi and Moroni found out that Teancum was dead, they were very sad. He had been a man who had fought bravely for his country. He was a true friend to freedom. He had suffered many very hard troubles. But he was dead and had died.

When Lehi and Moroni learned that Teancum was dead, they were heartbroken. He had been a valiant warrior for his country—a true defender of liberty. He had endured terrible hardships. But now he was gone.
