Alma 6:5

Now I would that ye should understand that the word of God was liberal unto all; that no one was deprived of the privilege of assembling themselves together to hear the word of God;

You should understand that God’s word was given freely to everyone. No one was kept from coming together to hear God’s word.

I want you to understand: God’s word was freely available to everyone. No one was denied the chance to gather and hear it.
