And thus we did go forth with all our might against the Lamanites, which were in the city of Manti; and we did pitch our tents by the wilderness side, which was near to the city.

So we went with all our strength against the Lamanites in the city of Manti. We set up our tents near the wild lands close to the city.

With everything we had, we marched against the Lamanites in Manti. We set up camp at the edge of the wilderness, near the city.
