Alma 57:34

And behold, when they had fled, and we could not overtake them, we took our march with speed towards the city Cumeni; and behold, we did arrive in time that we might assist our brethren in preserving the city.

After they ran away, we could not catch them. So we marched quickly back to the city of Cumeni. We got there in time to help our brothers keep the city safe.

‘When they fled and we couldn’t catch them, we marched at top speed toward Cumeni. We arrived just in time to help defend the city.’
