Alma 53:2

And Moroni went to the city of Mulek with Lehi, and took command of the city, and gave it unto Lehi. Now behold this Lehi was a man who had been with Moroni in the more part of all his battles; and he was a man like unto Moroni; and they rejoiced in each other’s safety; yea, they were beloved by each other, and also beloved by all the people of Nephi.

Moroni went to the city of Mulek with Lehi. He took control of the city and gave it to Lehi. Lehi was a man who had been with Moroni in most of his battles. He was like Moroni. They were happy for each other’s safety. They loved each other. All the Nephite people loved them both.

Moroni went with Lehi to the city of Mulek and handed command of the city over to him. Lehi had fought at Moroni’s side through most of his battles. He was a man cut from the same cloth as Moroni. They were glad to see each other safe, loved each other deeply, and were both beloved by all the Nephites.
