And he caused that upon those works of timbers, that there should be a frame of pickets built upon the timbers, round about; and they were strong and high;

On top of the wooden beams, he built a fence of pointed stakes. The fence was strong and tall.

Then they built tall, strong picket fences on top of the wooden walls.
