And again I ask, was the bands of death broken, and the chains of hell which encircled them about, were they loosed? I say unto you, yea, they were loosed, and their souls did expand, and they did sing redeeming love. And I say unto you, that they are saved.

Simple English

I ask again, were the chains of death broken? Were the chains of hell that held them set free? I tell you, yes, they were set free. Their souls grew big. They sang songs about God saving them. I tell you that they are saved.

Paraphrase

And let me ask again: Were death’s chains broken? Were the bonds of hell loosened? Yes, they were loosened. Their souls expanded, and they sang of redeeming love. I’m telling you, they were saved.
