Or do ye imagine to yourselves that ye can lie unto the Lord in that day, and say, Lord, Our works have been righteous works upon the face of the earth, and that he will save you?

Changes

Or do yeou imagine to yourselves that yeou can lie unto the Lord in that day, and say, —Lord, Oour works have been righteous works upon the face of the earth, —and that he will save you?

Simple English

Or do you think you can lie to the Lord on that day? Do you think you can say: “Lord, our works have been right on earth” and that he will save you?

Paraphrase

Or do you imagine you can lie to the Lord on that day and claim, “Lord, our works have been righteous on the earth,” and expect him to save you?
