Alma 49:26

And it came to pass that he was exceeding angry with his people, because he had not obtained his desire over the Nephites; he had not subjected them to the yoke of bondage;

He was very angry with his people. He had not gotten what he wanted over the Nephites. He had not forced them to be his slaves.

He was furious with his people. He hadn’t gotten what he wanted. The Nephites weren’t enslaved.
